While we were up at Kohl's ranch, the Little One had the misfortune of touching one of these caterpillars.  Yes, folks, they burn your skin.  But don't fear, we had a quick thinking girl scout on hand, who went down to the creek, dipped her bandanna in the water, and wrapped it around her sister's hand.  Go-Go was very proud of her quick and rational rescue.  And so was her sister, who came back from the hike showing off her yellow bandage. 

Go-Go told the story at least three times in a row of how her quick reaction helped her sister feel better as Dad went off to find a quicker way back to the cabin from the creek.  Now if only we could get this girl scout to memorize her own home phone number.
