Candy Land
So Go-Go gets me to play candy land this morning. I get grandma peanut brittle and skip ahead. And for the rest of the game all I hear is: No fair, now you're going to win!

To which I kept replying, the game isn't over, yet. And guess who wins: Go-Go! Well it turns out grandma was the only picture card to turn up that round. And Go-Go wanted to know where the snowflake one was. She raffled through the rest of the cards, found her and put her in her lap.

Wanting to play another game, I stacked up the cards again, and Go-Go tells me she has the top card. Little miss cheater: she knows the youngest person plays first. I kept telling her that was cheating. And she finally let me stick the card somewhere else in the pile. Turned out she picked it up anyhow. But a few moves later she picked up the plum, ran off to her bedroom screaming she was going to lose.

Well Mom was sick of hearing the complaint, I'm gonna lose from the first round and the Little One decided to join in game 2, and all she did was run her piece up and down the trial, knocking Mom's and Go-Go's pieces off their squares. So I started putting the game away. Then Go-Go came out, screaming she wanted to play. Either she figured it was okay to lose or she figured she could pull ahead and win like she did the first game. I'm not sure, but this is only a taste of what my morning was like.

Now, Go-Go is playing on the other computer and the Little One is watching TV, so mom has some peace and quiet to read and write again.

Called my Mom, cause the Little One wanted to talk to grandma but when grandma was on the phone she wanted nothing to do with it. Found out my parents are planning a trip out in October for the girls' fall break.

School... is it really in my future? Go-Go just had to inform me Bamboo is really a grass that is really hard and can be used to make houses. What a fountain of knowledge a computer encyclopedia can be. I wonder if Go-Go knows her floor may be bamboo some day. My hallway should be done over the weekend. *crosses fingers*
