A friendly neighborhood reminder: June 20th is Father's Day!

Okay so Hubby got Collected Poems of Edna St. Vincent Millay out of the library. He wanted to add it to one of my plethera of amazon orders, but when we looked it up at the beginning of this month they only had it in hardcover. Thus he got it out of the library.

Well today he asked me to check amazon again. He wanted to order a copy for his Dad for father's day. What a hassle! I love ordering books on amazon, usually. But to put in a different shipping address apparently means you have to enter all your account info over again, which made no sense to me. People the billing address was the same, therefore so is the billing info!

Anyhow, I have the order placed with the standard 3-7 business day shipping. To guarantee by father's day was an extra 4 DOLLARS! According to the shipping info he should get it by Father's day less $4 for us.

The funny thing is my mother's day present from the in-laws came 2 weeks late. And Hubby's father's day card came a week early. We got the mail yesterday and had a slight panic attack, thinking Father's Day was today when we saw the card addressed to Hubby.

Phew! We dodged that bullet.
