Went to the evil arches for dinner. While the girls went off to play, Hubby and I could actually complete an ADULT conversation. What else did we talk about but our flooring. Hubby tore up our carpeting in the hallway, a while WHILE back. We have finally agreed upon the tile we want. Plus the nice IRS refund helps, so within the next 2 weeks I should have tile in my hallway instead of the cement foundation.

The other thing we commented on was how well the Little One was playing with the other kids. Usually when we head to McD's, the Little One starts balling if any kid gets near her. She is not much for socializing, but today she made a friend about her own age and they actually played well together. I think she's going to be more than ready to start pre-k in August.

AND she may have new flooring in her bedroom by that time too. I just have to remember to take our carpet replacement one step at a time.
