Well I got 2 new books on Saturday, and I'll confess I've been spending most of my time reading up till yesterday when I finished both of them.  One was Sleeping Beauty by Philip Margolin.  The other was the first book in the Titan series (Star Trek).  They were both very good for escapism novels - my term for books you read for fun to forgot about the stress in the real world.

Speaking of books Scholastic has the Little House series on sale.  I think I'm going to get the set for Go-Go's birthday.  She loved watching the mini-series on ABC the past month and a half.  Right now we're reading a book from the magic treehouse series.  And Go-Go ran all the way to school to escape Pompeii before Mt. Vesuvius erupts.  Mom's legs were NOT made for running.
