I just had an AHA! moment. I wrote we went to the bookstore last night, and I knew I wanted to write something more on it but the Little One's update made me lose track. Here it is:
Hubby picked up an anthology last night: Rocking Chair Reader from the Attic, and said I should have gotten a story in it. I laughed and said, why just because and I pointed to the editor's name: Helen Kay Polaski. The person who compiled Forget Me Knots. Hubby said he didn't notice and wondered how I knew. Simple I've been getting the guidelines for all the Rocking Chair anthologies - However she is looking for true stories from smalltown America and I never lived in a small town.
I picked up the anthology to check out the contributing authors and saw a lot of fimilar names from Knots, including the current compiling editor of the next anthology my work will appear in. It is so cool to see everyone working together and getting their stories published.
