Troop Campout 2007

Tileman took the girl scout troop on their annual campout over the weekend.  This year he took both girls, and I had the house all to myself for a full 24 hours.  Now everyone and their brother tried to get me to join in on the fun.

Note:  Camping with a bunch of kids is NOT fun.

But a few nights before I came up with an excellent excuse.  And what do you plan on doing with the dog?

Our dog is very nice, but she does not like people and makes herself heard.  The few times we have taken her camping she has barked nonstop.  Tileman suggested bringing the dog, but I brought up the barking.  And in the end, it was decided I should stay home. *boo-hoo*

So Tileman took off Saturday morning with both girls to camp.  This was the third camping trip for the troop, and it is a family camp.  Each girl comes with her family and they bring their own tents.  One of the scouts has a brother in the Little One's class, and I heard those two were two peas in the pod.  Tileman said he rarely had to look in on the little one.  Everytime he checked on her, she was with the other family and her classmate.

The Little One loved her first scout camp.  Sunday morning, as they were breaking down camp, the Little One fell fast asleep on a pile of her dad's clothes.  Tileman took pictures.  It was so cute.
